Listings are posted primarily from March to May with sold properties peaking from June to September.
That means it may be time to start thinking about getting your property ready in the winter - if you intend to sell this year. Listing between March and June will get you the greatest amount of exposure as this is the time when most buyers are looking.
If you are looking to purchase, it's a bit early in the winter, as the inventory is smaller, but you will need to start researching soon because in March/April you will have the widest selection of properties to view. Do your homework, though, because a well-priced property will not last long and you need to be able to recognize a properly priced property.
